Bernhard Trecksel
Bernhard Trecksel, who was born in Papenburg an der Ems in 1980, calls himself a passionate escapist and total geek. He learned and improved upon his artful ability to tell stories through countless hours doing fantasy role-playing. After graduating with a degree in archaeology and Scandinavian studies, he now lives in Münster and works as a translator, critic and – ever since his debut Nebelmacher – author. Bernhard Trecksel finds his information in every day things such as reading the morning paper, but his writing idols include the old masters such as H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard and J.R.R. Tolkien. He spends his free time playing video games, board games and role-playing or reading fantasy and horror books.
