Andreas Gößling
Andreas Gößling was born in 1958 in Gelnhausen. Later he studied German, political science and journalism and completed his PhD thesis on Thomas Bernhard’s prose. Since the mid-1980s he has published more than 50 books, of which around 30 appear under his real name. Gößling has written scientific works, non-fiction books on culture and mythological history, books on current affairs and novels for adults, young adults and children. The spectrum of his work ranges from literary criticism to the history of ideas, economics and current societal issues, criminology, magic, Mayan culture, horror and fantasy. His readers include German studies experts, economists, managers, social workers, crime and thriller enthusiasts, fans of historic and fantastical novels, children and young adults. Andreas Gößling has one son and lives and works as a freelance writer with his wife Anne Löhr-Gößling in Berlin where he runs a special publishing house, MayaMedia.
